A fresh face on the Midlands jazz scene, Sam is an up-and-coming saxophonist whose sound is inspired by legends such as Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, and Kenny Garrett. He spent three years at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, studying under Gareth Lockrane and Matt Anderson. His fiery bebop style has helped make himself known at Bedford Street’s Jazz Jam Wednesdays, as well as Jazz Fridays in the Warwick Arts Centre.

For this special project, Sam is joined by Aaron Moloney (drums), Mark Trounson (bass), and Keenan Ngo (keys) for an evening celebrating the spirit of hard bop.
