Ralf DeCambre & Friends "From Scratch"
Birmingham born guitarist Ralf DeCamabre first picked his Father's guitar around the age of 10 and with his guidance quickly progressed to play across several genres including, jazz,blues,reggae, classical and rock eventually honing his skills performing with many different bands and and at jam sessions. By chance Ralf was invited to The MAC by Andy Hamilton's then guitarist and where he met Andy and later became a member of Blue Note and went on to perform on Andy's first album "Silvershine". He has gone on to perform at some of the finest venues and tours home and abroad including; St Lucia Festival, The Jamaica Jazz Festival, Caveaux De La Huchette (Paris),Ronnie Scott's (London & B'ham) and of course Silvershine (Corks Club).
The evening's program draws from the influence of guitar greats such as Ernest Ranglin, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Al Casey, Pat Metheny et al. As well as Ralf's earlier collaboration with Andy's son Mark in the band "From Scratch"
